Charitable Fund "Donbas proty SNIDU ditey", Makeyevka

In 2001 the first Ukrainian regional orphanage specifically for children born to HIV-positive mothers was opened in Makiyivka. Taking into account the needs of HIV + children in the orphanage, the Charitable Fund "Donbas proty SNIDU ditey" was established on November 11, 2004. The organization provides material support to HIV-positive children: funding scientific, methodological, and advocacy activities: supporting large and low-income families: promoting the involvement of psychologists, teachers, lawyers and other professionals to contribute to the protection of motherhood and childhood, etc.
